Allied Health Professional Development Fund
The government of Ontario recognizes and values the important contributions made by allied health professionals to the health care system. The Allied Health Professional Development Fund (AHPDF) is a HealthForceOntario (HFO) initiative designed to ensure that the people of Ontario have access to the right number and mix of health care professionals, now and in the future. This year the fund will continue to provide grants for professional development opportunities completed between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014.

Due to a high volume of submissions, we are unable to confirm the receipt of applications sent by fax, mail or e-mail. The applicant will be notified of the application's status within 6 weeks of the date of receipt. Applicants are required to keep copies of their application forms, supporting documents, and fax confirmations or courier/registered mail receipts (if applicable) for their records.
Recipients of funding from the Allied Health Professional Development Fund are issued T4A tax information in accordance with federal law. The T4A form outlines the total funding issued during the calendar year. This information is also reported to the Canada Revenue Agency. The T4A forms for the 2013 calendar year will be sent to recipients of funding by the end of February 2014.
